Trace-Fizz

Providing optimal levels of chelated trace minerals to support footpad health, skin and egg shell quality and to support the immune system.

Need for extra Zinc, Copper and Manganese

Birds require proper storage of trace minerals in their body to prevent deficiency symptoms when they are not eating enough (disease, long transport, restricted feeding, ….), when there are antagonists such as phytate, calcium and iron present in diet and water, and when birds are stressed. The pictures below show the symptoms related to insufficient supply of zinc, copper and manganese.

Chelated Zinc, Copper and Manganese

Chelated trace minerals are more efficiently absorbed compared to inorganic minerals:

  • They don´t interfere with inhibitors like antagonists (see picture) and strong chelating compounds like phytate because they stay chelated through the intestinal tract, keeping the metal ion bound to the organic compound.
  • Therefore, they also have a lower impact on the environment

Higher bio-availability results in improved animal production performance, reproduction performance and product quality (healthy footpads; smooth skin, strong and intact egg shells).
